How about that sports fans and armchair managers!!!
The Detroit Tigers are having a pathetic start to this year! I am ashamed to say that they are a miserable 2-10; how crappy is that?? I don't want to close the door on them so early in the season, but we have not had a start like this since the 90's. I honestly don't think that they have the weapons on the mound to help their bats when they are hitting well and they are not hitting well at all!!!!!! They last game on Saturday against Chicago the got beat up terribly!!!!! They were shut out by a score of 12-0!
Now; on a brighter note the Detroit Red Wings have been doing great in the playoffs against the Nashville Predators although they did lose their last game in Nashville the series is still 2-1 in favor of the Wings the next game will be in Nashville. Go Wings!!!
The Piston's are getting ready for their play-offs this year they are looking for yet another divisional championship and maybe even another championship ring the playoffs are still a little way in the future but the prospect is more than hopeful!!!
Then there is the Detroit Lions; yes I can hear everybody and their brother moaning in disgust but you have got to give Jon Kitna credit for sticking his foot and leg in his mouth so early; it's not even training camp and he is saying that they will WIN 10 games; we all remember his 10 games guarantee for last year and they finished what...... 6-10. I just think that he should try harder on leading the boys in silver and blue to a way to play a full 60minutes of football and not worry so much about predictions leave those to the people on the sport shows and the news broadcasts.
The Lions don't have an easy schedule but they also don't have a terribly hard schedule from the release of their 2008 schedule courtesy of ESPN they play some good teams early and they play some average teams too. Time will tell !
I have to say this everyone; however, look out for those Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
They are going to be hungry from their disappointing first round loss to those NY Giants; now I'm not sure if Michael Allstott will be suiting up for training camp he had suffered a serious neck injury last year in camp, but I'm hopeful to see him back in the line up this fall!
These are my thoughts and not yours, but your welcome to sound off!
All comments are welcome just play nice; I do!
